Research Goal
Evaluate competitors' strengths, weaknesses, and design approaches across Esports betting products, with a focus on usability, engagement features, and visual clarity, in order to inform future product improvements and innovation areas.

Methodology & Metrics
A combination of heuristic walkthroughs and UX pattern documentation was used to assess core elements like navigation flow, categorization schemes, live/upcoming event views, search and favorites functionality, and gamification elements such as leaderboards or streaming features. A SWOT framework was used to map competitive positioning and opportunity spaces.

Key Findings
Clear and flexible navigation, effective categorization, and immediate access to bet history were strengths among top competitors. However, many lacked visual hierarchy, engaging visuals, and mobile-optimized components. Functionalities like search and favorites were often underdeveloped. Recommendations include enhancing gamification, refining filtering/search UX, and introducing onboarding elements to improve user orientation and engagement.
