Research Goal
The goal was to analyze user interactions, pain points, and feature preferences within a sportsbook betting flow. A target audience was selected with screening questions to ensure participants were relevant and experienced sports bettors.
User Testing Sessions
Conducted 10 unmoderated user interview sessions using the UserTesting platform to gather insights on user behavior, identify pain points, and validate design decisions efficiently.
Research Outcome
Users generally found the betting process straightforward but encountered difficulties with bet slip management and clarity around odds formats. Preferences varied for quick bet placement versus more detailed bet customization. Improvements are needed in error feedback and confirmation prompts to reduce accidental bets and improve confidence. Streamlining navigation between event selection and bet confirmation was also recommended to enhance flow efficiency.
