Casino Lobby Filtration and Search UX Analysis
Project Type
User Interview / Usability Testing
Role
UX Researcher / Interview Moderator
Keywords
Usability Testing, Navigation Behavior, Filter Interaction, Prototype Comparison, User Interviews, Design Validation
Research Goal
The primary goal was to observe how users interact with navigation and filtering options in the Casino lobby, specifically focusing on how they reset filters or return to the main lobby. Participants were recruited based on their familiarity with online casino interfaces to ensure relevant and contextual feedback.
Findings
User behavior revealed a disconnect between intended navigation flows and actual usage patterns. Many users ignored the designed “reset” actions, relying instead on primary navigation elements or assumed behaviors. The pop-up filter model showed promise, especially with real-time feedback. While stakeholder priorities paused ongoing testing, findings suggest several clear directions for improving navigation clarity and filtering logic.
